The Mandatory Transition Timeline

• New Standard Publication: January 2026.
• Transition Period: A maximum of up to three years will be allowed from the publication date, meaning certification to the new standard must be completed by early 2029.
• Certificate Validity: Your current ISO 14001:2015 certificate remains valid throughout this transition period, but it will expire if you do not successfully migrate to the 2026 version by the deadline.
